Happy Birthday, Mr. Wannabe Hippie

Yesterday my old man got a little bit older. He started the last year of his 30's and because of the rain wasn't able to work the outdoor gig he had scheduled. So we dropped off our kids at Grandma and spent the next 10 hours hanging out together, totally without tiny people. First we hit up a coffee shop where we sat and talked about our future, what we want, what we're afraid of, what's next, where we've been. From there we went downtown to catch a movie, giggling at my unwise choice to have caffeinated tea before sitting still for so long. I had to pee thrice. From there we met friends for dinner and then another coffee shop before finally making our way to my moms to gather our sleepy children.

It was one of the best days we've had in a long time and I felt so fortunate to have this amazing man in my life. Happy Birthday, honey. You totally rock my world.
